What to bring & how to prepare

Everything is provided

There is no need to bring anything to IN PERSON classes, unless you prefer your own mat, you're welcome to bring it along.  Mats and props are provided.

If you're at home joining an online class, then your own mat, a couple of blocks and a strap will be useful - cushions or books, scarf or belt can work well.

If you've never tried yoga before come to a Monday Beginner class.

Please be punctual and arrive 10 minutes prior to start time so you can set yourself up. The same applies for online attendance,

How to prepare:
  • it is best to practice on an empty stomach so avoid eating within an hour of the class start time
  • wear comfortable clothing, that allows for movement and a top that won't fall down onto your face when you bend over
  • be ready for quiet as the class will be in silence with only the sounds that are around on the day
  • if you have any medical conditions or injuries, check with your health professional before you start
  • come along early at your first visit so we can have a chat to make sure you feel comfortable.

Check out my Teaching Style page if you want to find out more about my approach to teaching.
