What to bring & how to prepare

Mats, Props, Open Mind

Mats and props (blocks/strap/blanket). are available but in our ever-changing Covid-19 environment it is safest to bring your own. We will spray and clean all equipment at the end of the class.

If you're at home joining an online class, then you'll need your own mat and props. Have your props beside the mat ready.

If you've never tried yoga before, get in touch and I'll  steer you to the appropriate class.  Once you've attended a few classes you'll work out what props you require.

Please be punctual whether you're joining an In Person or online class. Arriving five minutes before the start is good, you can get set up and we can have a quick chat to settle you in.

How to prepare:
  • it is best to practice on an empty stomach so avoid eating within an hour of the class start time
  • wear comfortable clothing, that allows for movement and a top that won't fall down onto your face when you bend over
  • be ready for quiet as the class will be in silence with only the sounds that are around on the day
  • if you have any medical conditions or injuries, check with your health professional before you start
  • come along early at your first visit so we can have a chat to make sure you feel comfortable.
